Let’s get started: Our online application
The Office of 入学 has made applying to Maumee Valley Country Day School as simple as possible. A completed online application actually starts our admission review process, which also includes your visit to campus, an assessment test for certain grades, and an in-person interview.
入学 to Maumee Valley is selective, and all the steps in the process must be completed before the 入学 Committee reviews the full application. The time between completing an application and acceptance notification depends upon how soon the required materials are submitted and the required visits, 面试, and tests are completed.
入学 process for U.S. 家庭
Here are the first three steps for every family regardless of what grade the child is entering.

- 步骤2: Submit a copy of your child’s state-certified birth certificate or valid passport

- 步骤2: Submit a copy of your child’s passport
- 步骤3: Submit school records and two teacher recommendations from your current school.
- 步骤4: Submit the most recent TOEFL, TOEFL Jr, Duolingo, or SSAT test score.
- 步骤5: Schedule a virtual interview with your admission director.
- 步骤6: If accepted, submit a copy of your bank statement for issuance of an I-20.
Additional steps For each division:
较低的学校
(学前班-三年级)
- Your admission director schedules a family interview with the head of the 较低的学校.
- Your admission director schedules a classroom visit for your child. 访问s are half day for 幼儿园 applicants and a full day for 1st-3rd grade applicants. (访问s are optional for Pre幼儿园 and Junior 幼儿园 applicants.)
- During the classroom visit for 幼儿园 through 3rd grade, a 教师 member assesses the student in math, 阅读, 和写作.
- Your admission director will be in contact regarding additional documents to be submitted for applicants in 1st through 3rd grades.
中学
(等级4 - 8)
- Your admission director schedules a family interview with the Head of the 中学 and a full-day classroom visit for the student.
- During the classroom visit, a 教师 member assesses the student in math, 阅读, 和写作.
- Your admission director will be in contact regarding additional documents to be submitted.
上学校
(9 - 12年级)
- Submit school records and two teacher recommendations from your current school
- Schedule a shadow day with your admission team member
- All applicants will complete the SSAT (Secondary School 入学 Test) and Character Skills Snapshot. This will be scheduled with your admission team member
